Aberdeen Artists Society
The Aberdeen Artists’ Society (AAS) dates back to 1827, but took its present form in 1958 when Ian Fleming was Head of Gray’s School of Art. Each year it holds an exhibition in Aberdeen Art Gallery with works by artists from all over the country; one of the main attractions of the exhibition is the Awards scheme offered by Shell.

Make

MAKE is a Aberdeen's first digital fabrication studio. It hosts a wide range of equipment that can help to turn your ideas into a reality. 

MAKE aberdeen is hosted by RGU and supported by Aberdeen City Council, Creative Scotland and the UK Government Super Connected Cities programme.

Creative & Cultural Skills

Creative & Cultural Skills is the UK-wide sector skills council for advertising, crafts, design, cultural heritage, music and the arts. 

Royal Scottish Academy 

The Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) is an independent body of artists and architects founded as Scotland's oldest artists' collective, The Scottish Academy, in 1826.  The Academy embodies a wealth of professional experience in fine art and architecture with Members taking a leading role in higher education and in many of Scotland's cultural institutions. Gray's School of Art has an outstanding record in the RSA Awards.

Society of Dyers and Colourists 
The aim of the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) is to connect and communicate with academia to support students studying textiles at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.

One of the world's largest energy companies and sponsors of the annual Gray's School of Art Degree Show.

Shell
Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies. They are involved in the art scene in Aberdeen by offering an Awards scheme at the Aberdeen Artist Society's annual exhibition.

Skills Development Scotland helps people of all ages to discover their skills and develop their careers.
