The Sir Ian Wood Building Alumni Tours
The Alumni Office provides tours of the university's impressive new Sir Ian Wood Building at Garthdee. Tours take place on Friday's* from 12.00-13.00. If you are an alumnus of RGU and would like to tour around the impressive new facility, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and a team member will arrange a date that is convenient with you.
Please note that tour groups can include family members and friends of alumni, however the group can be no larger that eight in total.
*Tours are dependent on the availability of staff - therefore they will not necessarily run every week.

Alumni Loyalty Discount
RGU and RGIT Alumni are able to enjoy the following range of exclusive and generous discounts on products and services offered within the university.
Robert Gordon University is delighted to offer a 15% loyalty discount on course fees for all alumni who have graduated from RGU.
How do you claim your discount?
When applying for your course, the application form will ask if you completed a qualification at the University. Once we have checked and confirmed your qualification is eligible for discount, we will then automatically reduce your fees by the appropriate amount.
The small print
The 15% discount applies to both home and overseas alumni of Robert Gordon University who are commencing study, on campus or online, from September 2013 onwards. It can only be applied to tuition fees and cannot be used to cover any other programme-related expenses (e.g. residential costs, materials or membership fees). The discount rate applies to an individual whether they are sponsored or self-funded. However, it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (for example corporate schemes/preferential rates). The discount also cannot be received as a cash refund against the full cost of a course.

Academic Transcripts for Former Students
Records Prior to 1988
Unfortunately we are unable to provide academic transcripts for any study prior to 1988.
Records for 1988 - 1998
If we are able to produce your record, an administration fee of £10 will be required beforehand
Due to corruption of files over the years, we can not guarantee all transcripts will be available
Records for 1998 onwards
Transcript requests for study between 1998 onwards are processed directly by the individual schools.

Graduates from full-time undergraduate courses who have completed their courses from 1 August 2013 will have access to their HEAR via the online services provided by GradIntel.
Graduates from part-time undergraduate courses, graduate certificate courses and post-graduate certificate, diploma and master level courses who completed their courses from 1 August 2014 onwards will be provided with online access to a Diploma Supplement. This service is provided by Gradintel.
Confirmation of Study and Award Letters
Student Records and Information Team can provide former students with official letters of confirmation. These letters can be used for a variety of purposes. For further information please send an email to email@example.com
If your degree certificate has been lost, stolen or damaged you may request a replacement through the Student Records Team.
Please note that there can be only one original degree certificate in existence at any one time. The university withholds the right to decline any request for a replacement certificate should a previous request been made.
- Replacements will usually bear the name of the graduate as they were known at the time of graduation. In certain circumstances, such as gender reassignment, names may be updated when a new certificate is issued.
- Receiving a replacement certificate depends on the date the award was issued and the level of the qualification.
- In order to process a request for a replacement certificate, a few checks and verifications must be made prior to any formal application for re-issue.
- If we are able to process the request a fee of £35 will be required.
- Student Records aim to complete replacement certificate requests within 5 to 7 working days, after all required documents have been received.
