Aims of the Centre
The Scottish Centre of Tourism (SCoT) is an applied centre of excellence which undertakes consultancy, research, tourism development education and human resource development. Our aims are to provide new knowledge or find new applications of theory for the tourism/hospitality industry with the objective that SCoT activities support Aberdeen Business School in terms of the postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
The centre provides impartial expertise and comment on tourism issues of regional and national importance. The MSc International Tourism Management (validated in 2002) takes a management perspective and is the first masters to "share" management and specialist modules.
