The School has well-equipped laboratories and state-of-the-art instruments at the brand new school premises in The Sir Ian Wood Building, Garthdee Campus.
Practice learning environments
Our students have access to a range of laboratories and learning environments. The main objective of our practice learning environments, such as our Pharmacy mockup, clean room suite and mock crime scene areas, is to supplement practice based learning throughout the School and to facilitate the development of skills required for new professional roles.
There are a number of modern laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment designed to aid both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Resources include:
- General Biosciences, Chemistry and Forensic Laboratories
- A Microscopy Suite
- Chemistry Instrumentation Laboratories
- A Forensic Imaging Suite
- A Food Handling and Preparation Laboratory
Students can access modern, well-equipped laboratories and sports facilities
There are approximately 2,500 computers on campus.
