Placements

The Aberdeen Business School placement team help students to find relevant work placement opportunities with local, national and even international organisations.

For Students

Students on placement work with an employer on a full-time basis for the period of the course placement. This gives them the chance to put into practice the skills and knowledge gained on their course and provides an excellent opportunity to gain real world experience. Overall, a placement can focus career plans, increase employability prospects and offer valuable networking opportunities

For Employers

Employers also benefit from working with our students by gaining an employee who has up-to-date knowledge of their field along with the desire to build and improve their skills. At the Placement Office we work throughout the year placing students with local, national and international employers. A great number or employers continue to support our placement students, with many offering them employment when they graduate.
