You might be surprised at the range of opportunities on offer at a modern university. With around 600 academic and research staff and 900 professional and support staff, the opportunities are endless.

Teaching is divided into three main faculties, Business, Health & Social Care and Design & Technology, with our core research activity focussed into three Research Institutes. Support staff are located throughout all academic departments, as well as the larger support departments of HR, IT, Finance, Facilities/Estates, Student Services and the Library.

We’re committed to refining and strengthening the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels, as part of a wider commitment to ensure we have the organisational capability to grow, innovate and deliver on our longer term goals. Development opportunities are discussed at regular intervals through the performance review process.
