Open Days

The School of Pharmacy & Life Sciences is an active participant in the annual university open day, which usually takes place in October and November each year.

The open day provides an excellent opportunity for prospective students and their family to visit the School to see the teaching facilities and more importantly to meet with members of teaching staff.

Visitors are offered a tour around the School to look at some of the specialist teaching accommodation which includes the pioneering Pharmaceutical Care Centre, a state of the art sterile products manufacturing suite and other specialist laboratories.

The Student Perspective

Commonly the tours are conducted by some of our existing students who have volunteered to assist at the open day. This gives an opportunity to ask what the School is like from the student perspective. Only through visiting us to see for yourself can you really appreciate the quality of the School and we look forward to welcoming you.

It is often not possible for some people to visit the School during the open day. Where this is the case and should you be interested in coming to the School on a separate occasion then you should make contact with us. We would be very pleased to organise a mutually agreeable alternative.
