School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences
The new school of Pharmacy and Life Sciences has been created with the merger of two existing schools, the Schools of Pharmacy and Life Sciences at RGU.
The new school is the second largest in the University in terms of student numbers and is led by Professor Donald Cairns. Plans are underway to move the new school into a purpose built, multi-million pound facility at RGU’s Garthdee Campus by 2014.
The new school already has an impressive track record with seven courses accredited by professional bodies including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, the Forensic Science Society, the Nutrition Society and the Health Professions Council – one of the reasons why graduates from the school are in such high demand from employers.
