    Dr. Addo is a Lecturer in the field of Mental Health Nursing at the School of Nursing & Midwifery. Mary completed her PhD in 2006 and has since disseminated her work via diverse forums locally, nationally and internationally on the nurses’ experience in working with sex offenders in maximum secure settings.

    Debbie Banks

    Debbie is Senior Lecturer and a Programme Leader at the school. Her research interests are in the areas of curriculum development in nurse education, mindfulness and mental health Nursing.

    Inga Heyman

    Inga completed her Masters in Nurse Led Practice whilst working with Grampian Police. Her Masters dissertation and experience working alongside police colleagues developed a strong interest in collaborative police and nursing interventions.

    Josey is a member of the Scottish Government Health Department/NHS Education for Scotland Recruitment and Retention Delivery Group and is a Senior Lecturer in the area of Recruitment, Admission and Selection.

    Andrew McKie

    Dr. McKie completed his PhD in 2011, exploring the impact of reading literature and poetry on student nurses' ethical practice. Since 2011, Andrew also serves as the convenor of the school's Ethics Review Panel.

    Ann is a Lecturer and Practice Education Lecturer in the field of Mental Health Nursing and is also a Safety Representative with the Royal College of Nursing (RCN).

    Steve Smith

    Steve is a lecturer in the area of Mental Health and is currently pursuing his PhD focusing on the impact of training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy on the professional and cultural identity of nurses.
