Professor John WatsonThe combination of both design and technology creates probably one of the fastest paced sectors in industry. Ensuring that our educational expertise maintains its leading-edge status is absolutely critical to the success of our four Schools and, consequently, something we work very hard to achieve.

We have strong industry links, evident in our excellent graduate employment record, professional body accreditations and industrial placement schemes.

Above all, our aim is for the sum to be greater than the total of the parts, with our Schools collaborating closely to forge new disciplines and enter new markets, creating a Faculty of Design and Technology which is a leader in its class.
