Art and Heritage Collections

The University holds an extensive collection of artistic and historical artefacts. These include paintings, models, teaching equipment, student drawings and photographs that will allow staff, students and visitors to explore Robert Gordon University’s history.

Painting by James CowieThe University Art and Heritage Collections exist to enable students, staff and the wider community to explore collections for learning, enjoyment and inspiration by preserving and presenting artworks and artefacts reflecting the history and output of the Robert Gordon University.

The Art and Heritage Collections were awarded Full Museum Accreditation by Museums Libraries and Archives Council in February 2009.
