Role and Responsibilities

Dr. Abhishek Agarwal is a Senior Lecturer in the Aberdeen Business School, Department of Management and the course leader for MSc Leadership and Management. He has contributed to the delivery of various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Aberdeen Business School since 2004. He is currently coordinating a number of modules, including 'Energy Policy and the Environment' (BSM117), 'Energy Project (BSM673)' and 'Renewable Energy Management (BSM158)'.

Abhishek graduated with an MBA from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD from the Aberdeen Business School. He has been involved in writing papers for publication in peer reviewed journals, guest editing special issues of reputed journals, chairing sessions in renowned international conferences and reviewing for high ranking journals. Abhi has recently been chosen for the prestigious "Hind Rattan" award for Non-Resident Indians. He will be honoured on 25th January 2014 at the Eve of Republic  Day in Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi.

Abhishek's research interests are focused on strategy, planning and policy approaches shaping the energy sector, and the development and management of industrial symbiosis networks, as well as more broadly in the integration of environmental, energy and resource efficiency perspective into the core strategies of businesses for the sustainable future of industry.
